Hi, I’m Marilyn and I love the Internet, Internet Marketing, Social Media, and Building Online Communities. I help develop plans for businesses to use Internet tools and technologies to complement their marketing objectives.
This blog will be a place for me to promote my freelance internet marketing services all while writing about social media technologies, social media marketing, social networking, viral marketing, online community building, as well as other Internet marketing trends.
Background
Over the past 4 years, I have worked for Interactive and Marketing companies in Producer and Project Manager roles. At my last position, it was my responsibility to take multiple Internet Marketing, Web Development, Corporate Branding, Email Marketing, Viral Marketing, Online PR, and some E-Commerce projects from inception to completion. It was my primary duty to organize, schedule, task, monitor, and advise every phase of the project life cycle. I managed an in-house and outsourced team of up to 20 individuals.
As a result of my experience, I am well-versed on the best practices of Web Usability, Branding, Messaging, SEO, Lead Generation, Web Copywriting, Conversion Enhancement, Web Analytics, and more.
I have developed a true passion for all things Social Media Marketing (Blogs, Podcasts, Video Marketing), Social Networking (Facebook, MySpace, etc.), Micro Blogging (Twitter, etc.), Online Community Building (Ning, Crowdvine, etc.), Social Sharing (Digg, SocialMedian, etc.), Online PR, Content Marketing, and more.
It’s important for businesses to leverage these technologies to promote brand awareness, generate buzz, produce sales leads, and engage with consumers. I am happy to speak with any person or business who wishes to learn how to harness these tools and technologies.
